Is Triple H On Steroids Or Natural?
Triple H or Paul Levesque is an actor and one of the most popular WWE pro wrestlers. He is known to have got increasingly popular as a wrestler over the past few years. What is even more intriguing is that his physique and strength have also increased tremendously over this period. No wonder, he is being suspected of having used steroids.
With over 6.6 million followers on Instagram, Triple H is immensely popular.
Is Triple H on Steroids or is he Natural?
In this article, I am going to find out if he is natural or whether he has taken steroids for his massive muscles and explosive strength.
Why Triple H is Suspected to Using Steroids?
Before I delve a bit deeper into it, I would like to remind you of two important things:
- First of all, back in the year 2006, WWE’s Wellness Policy gave 3 strikes to all wrestlers who failed random drug tests.
- Secondly, Dave Palumbo (Triple H’s nutritionist stated that is it extremely common for WWE wrestlers to take small or very minimal doses of HGH, provided they were granted therapeutic exemptions. Having said that, Palumbo vehemently denied that Triple H ever used steroids.
Regardless of the above facts, here are some signs which indicate that Triple H might have used anabolic steroids:
Gaining Muscle Mass
If you observe Triple H’s physique closely over the years, you would notice a couple of things:
- Comparing his physique in the late 90s to the mid-2010s you will find that even though he maintained almost the same amount of muscle mass, he looks more shredded with better muscle definition.
- The change is more evident in his forearms, biceps, and core.
This seems like the effect of HGH which can be used for both bulking with muscle mass and cutting by burning excess fat in the body.
In simple words, Triple H looks more shredded and well-built for someone who is natural, raising suspicions of him using PEDs.
Highly Vascular
Triple H is essentially a wrestler but he seems to have a physique of a bodybuilder. If look at him closely, you will not miss how vascular his calves look.
Yep! The veins on his calves look extremely prominent. Now, such a high level of vascularity cannot result from a water cut or a pump because he would have required his full strength to perform on the ring. Instead, it looks like a like of corticosteroids, which are highly common among athletes for recovery. I must mention here that these compounds are supposed to be excellent for enhancing vascularity.
It is but natural for him to be suspected of having used steroids.

Let’s have a look at Triple H’s stats before we get any further:

At the same time, here are some of his major achievements:
- World Heavyweight Championship (5 times)

- WWF/WWE Intercontinental Champion (5 times)
- WWF European Championship (2 times)
- WWE Tag Team Championship (2 times)
- Royal Rumble Winner (2 times)
Is it possible to get the Triple H physique naturally?
I would say that it is not impossible to get a body like Triple H naturally but there are two main things – First of all, you would need to have great genetics. Secondly, you need to put in a lot of hard work to get bulking and cutting results like Triple H.
The best option for you to achieve this body is with the help of natural, legal, and safe steroid alternatives that have already become a massive hit among bodybuilders and gymgoers these days since these supplements do not have any of the side effects that are commonly associated with anabolic steroids.
How To Bulk Up Like Triple H?
Here are some important things to keep in mind if you want to bulk up like this hulk:
Diet and Supplements
It is known that Triple H has switched around with various diet plans throughout his career and that he views his diet as the main fuel that keeps him going.
While on some days, he is known to have gone low on carbs and high on protein and fats, on other days goes low on protein and high on carbs to keep his energy levels high. Not just this, he is also known to indulge in cheat meals every now and then. As a matter of fact, he goes on to say that cheat meals are what keep his metabolism high. Some of his go-to supplements include whey protein, fish oil, and creatine.
Rigorous Training
Training is definitely the most important thing required when building your physique whether you want to look like Triple H, Hadi Choopan, Brian Shaw, Eddie Hall, Connon Murphy, Andrew Tate, John Cena, or Jeff Nippard!
While each of these might be having different body types – some are highly jacked, while others have a great ripped physique, what is common is that all of them are known to have spent years and years training intensely and hard.
Getting back to Triple H, he is known to have used heavy weights to build up muscle size and strength. Not just this, he is also known to have included bodyweight exercises in his fitness regime which are simply awesome when it comes to building strength.
Furthermore, it is known that Tripe H focuses on different muscle groups on different days so that each of his muscle groups gets enough time to rest and recover. Recovery is an important part of muscle growth. Not just this, he is also known to observe off days when he allows his body to recover and recuperate.
Was Triple H Ever Tested for Steroids or Drugs?
All I can say is that it is possible that he might have been tested for using steroids or PEDs.
WWE sticks to a Wellness Policy under which wrestlers are checked for abusing PEDs. I must mention here that a lot of wrestlers tend to be on hormone replacement therapy.
I feel that Triple H’s transformation is one of the reasons behind people suspecting him of using steroids. This could be one of the reasons behind the federation checking him for using steroids but there is nothing official to confirm it. Thus, we do not know for sure whether he has been tested for steroids or not.
Verdict – Is Triple H on Steroids?
Before getting down to any conclusion, I would like to mention that he does show some signs of PEDs. For instance, high vascularity and huge muscles could be a result of taking steroids or PEDs. But, there’s nothing to show that he has ever tested positive for using PEDs or anabolic steroids.
Moreover, it can’t be said that he is drug-free because many wrestlers are known to indulge in hormone replacement therapy.
For those of you who want to gain lean and high-quality muscle mass without fearing side effects, natural and legal alternatives to steroids are recommended. These do not have any side effects and neither do they require a PCT!
