Of course, Chris Hemsworth needs no introduction. His transformation from being a lover body in Home and Away to the incredibly jacked Thor is nothing short of impressive so much so that he is being looked upon as one of the most popular Hollywood Hulks today!
He has appeared as Thor in:
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Avengers: Infinity War
- Avengers: Endgame
- Avengers: Secret Wars (to be released in 2025)
It goes without saying that Chris Hemsworth’s physique is incredibly good and he looks in amazing with those huge muscles. Even though Chris is often suspected of using steroids, I think he is natural. You can check out more on this – Is Chris Natural or on steroids by clicking here. In brief, I would like to say that it is possible to build a physique like his with intense training, a proper diet, and a couple of natural or legal supplements including testosterone boosters.
Chris Hemsworth – Workout Routine
It is not uncommon for most guys to wonder how a skinny (albeit fit and toned) teen from Home and Away became as jacked and muscled hulk as he looks while playing God of Thunder. I must say that most gym-goers would do anything to get a v-shaped Chris Hemsworth-like physique. Not to mention the fact that his bulky shoulders, strong and fuller arms, and ripped abs are the fancy of most men training their butts off in the gym!
Apparently, Christ Hemsworth trained regularly at the gym and by regular, I would suppose at least 5-6 days a week while preparing for this role as Thor. Each of his training schedules is supposed to have lasted for close to 90 minutes with a mix of high-intensity cardio, and strength training including both weight lifting and bodyweight exercises.
It is also quite clear that in order to transform his body from a lean and toned shape to a bulky one, Chris ate a whole lot of food so that he was in a caloric surplus. I must mention here that anyone who wants to gain muscle needs to consume more calories than he is able to burn in the gym. However, selecting the right foods in your diet is important since foods that are rich in carbs and fats can make you put on excess body fat. Thus, your diet has to be the right mix of proteins, carbs, and fats so that you are able to gain lean and high-quality muscle mass.
Of course, this kind of body transformation is not possible with the help of a personal trainer and Chris Hemsworth is known to have had to support and guidance of not one but two professional trainers – Duffy Gaver and Luke Zocchi.
Duffy is no stranger to training Hollywood stars. He is an ex-Navy SEAL Sniper and is known to have trained Bradd Pitt for Tory and Tobey Maquire for his role as Spider Man.
Luke Zocchi also has vast experience in training celebrities. What is even more interesting is that Luke is someone who has known Chris since his days in primary school.
I guess, it is the right time to tell you about the Centr app. This is an app created together by Lucke Zocchi and Chris Hemsworth and it can help you build a body like Chris Hemsworth’s. It consists of workouts that you can do at the gym and at home and there are various membership levels that you can subscribe to. Not just this, the app also provides you guidance with regard to your diet as well.
Furthermore, it also includes meditation and mindfulness programs that you can subscribe to.

Even though the exact workout is not published online. It may look like the following:

Chris Hemsworth – Nutrition/Diet
When trying to transform your body, your diet depends upon where you start and what your goal is in terms of both muscle gains and body weight. Considering the fact that Chris was quite lean before he started training for his role as Thor, he would consume close to 4000 calories per day while training hard at the same time.
Now, having so many calories in a day is not easy for someone who is trimmed and toned. Reportedly, Chris had to have 8 meals per day in order to meet this daily target of 4000 calories. Each of his means was high in protein with Chris’ preference being steak, chicken, or fish. Not just this, it is known that he would occasionally have a protein shake in between such meals.

As mentioned above, his Thor workout routine is not available but Chris and Luke are known to have shared a full-body workout from their app free online and here is what it looked like:
|Barbell Military Press||3 sets||8 reps||20 seconds rest in between sets|
|Dumbbell Lateral Raise||3 sets||8 reps||20 seconds rest in between sets|
|Dumbbell Rear Raise||3 sets||8 reps||20 seconds rest in between sets|
|Bodyweight Squat||1 set||10 reps||60 seconds rest|
|Barbell Front Squat||3 sets||8 reps||20 seconds rest in between sets|
|Alternating Side Lunge||3 sets||8 reps||20 seconds rest in between sets|
|Machine Calf Raise||3 sets||8 reps||60 seconds rest in between sets|
Chris Hemsworth Family Life
Chris is currently known to have dated Spanish model and actress Elsa Pataky. It is known that both of them met in 2010 and just after a few months they were married and they have been so for more than 12 years now. This is some kind of a rarity in Hollywood where most people end up being divorced an average of 7.2 years into the marriage. I personally wish them all the best and hope their marriage would last a lifetime.
What anyone can make out is that Chris is a family man and together with his wife he has three lovely kids including a daughter, India Rose who was born in 2012, and twin sons that were born in 2014.
Furthermore, he has two brothers – Liam Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth.
The latest Thor release is Thor: Love and Thunder in which you can actually see his impressive physique. You can actually see him in this movie with Russel Crowe, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, and Christian Bale. I must mention here that Hemsworth is known to have said that Thor: Lover and Thunder is the craziest movie that he has ever made.
Chris Hemsworth’s physique is highly inspiring for most guys who love to train at the gym. This is something that is beyond doubt. What I really like about this guy is that he seems to have worked really hard to achieve this body while supposedly being natural.
Tanveer Quraishi, author of Steroids 101 has extensive experience in the field of bodybuilding and has been writing online on various muscle-building and other health topics for many years now. He is not just interested in bodybuilding but is a great football player too. When he is not writing for his site or training at the gym, he loves to spend his time with this wife and kids.
